The hotel is great, only one elevator working when we were there. The staff is amazing, the room service was very good, people very friendly 5 stars if it wasn't because of the elevators. Nice location too. Great overall

An New York icon, and carries lots of hype. But it's all about expectations after all. Classy and elegant ave, but I didn't find it so impressive otherwise. Stopped just for a chat and some drinks. And apart the label, for the money you can get so much better in the Great Apple.

Great hotel. Very pretty outside, very pretty lobby. Room was smallish but very cute and stylish. Bathroom was clean and cute. Bed was super comfy! Our room view out the window was just other hotel rooms. Which was disappointing but ok. Across the street there is a restaurant that's open till 1am. Fast check in. Even faster checkout. I'd definitely stay here again. Times square is so busy, it was nice to have a hotel that was a block or two away from the total chaos.

Big hotel close to theater district with a big bold entrance. Didn’t like the additional charge for amenities that I didn’t use. Would prefer it just included in the price of the room. Expensive compared to other hotels in the area and I feel there are better options for less money. Rooms are quite small and the bathrooms are dark and in need of remodeling. Stayed in room 1817 the bed by the window and woke up with a dozen or so bug bites. Other person in other bed was fine. Shop around. For the price I paid I could have done better.

Second time staying here. Great location....close to Central Park, Times Square, Carnegie Hall, subway, everything! Very comfortable bed and pillows. Updated through out and very Clean. My only complaint was the hair dryer (air intake) was so clogged with lint it got super hot and actually burned my hair! It is important to check hair dryers before using. The concierge had a brand new hair dryer, still in the box, brought to my room when I showed him the clump of hair that burned off.
